name

When I had original thought about opening my own personal site, I wanted something creative like most of the ones out there. I had trouble thinking of something that I liked and wouldn’t get tired of easily. My uncle suggested CATiEBUG because it had been something some people called me for as long as I could remember. I really didn’t like the name a whole lot at the time, but it seemed perfect. After I opened the site, a little while after, I began to slowly start to use it. Wasn’t until my junior year that the name really grew on me and now I use it for everything.

History

I had been a huge fan of a music group called Play. I was always on fansites and stuff. Back at the end of 2003 or beginning of 2004 I wanted to make my own fansite for them. I got an account a Freewebs. The site was called Only-play and it was a “starter” or “basic” account since I didn’t know any HTML. I met a girl from another fansite called Vivid-play. She taught me how to code a layout and some basic stuff I needed to know. I soon moved to Geocities and got a short url from Shorturl. I got tired of that site after like a year. I wanted to get a personal domain and my uncle hosted me for awhile. I felt restricted using his hosting so I then bought hosting at Holdfire and it’s what you see today.
